He’s lucky to only have broken two legs…could have been much, much worse…
Wow. Very nice timelapse of the Meribel mountains by Belgian moviemaker Matthew Vandeputte. Loads of snow. This couldn’t be done with a GoPro because of the light conditions. You need a “real” cam for this…

Okay, those Snowboarders and Freestyle Ski bums make fun of you when you go Nordic Skiing…but respect to these guys. Freestyle Nordic.
If you ever tried them on, you know how difficult this must be!

I like this concept: simpel construction with I-beams, high enough to escape floods…and then re-use the i-beams as a slider to seal the cabin when you’re away. Beautiful. The Sol Duc Cabin

30 seconds of advertising of a Mercedes passing by…euhm …through…and a whole lot of postproduction. Simple idea, very nice execution.
Watch the making of below to get the idea
I feel a bit sorry for the trees, and hope they got that part (re)covered. Lack of respect of nature bothered me a bit in “The art of flight” also…

What if you didn’t glued them…but screwed them together. Could I transform a Race bike to a stronger Mountainbike?
The fork weihs 480g and the frame 1100g . If they would use titanium it would even be lighter…

“The surf at Peahi, aka “Jaws”, is considered the worlds biggest and most dangerous and until recently has been considered impossible to catch and ride without the use of a jet ski ‘tow-in’ and foot straps.”
The nice part of it: the larger the wave the more he raises for the Breast Cancer Fundation Australia. So he rides big waves and takes care of australian breasts. Give that man a statue!
