Wow. Very nice timelapse of the Meribel mountains by Belgian moviemaker Matthew Vandeputte. Loads of snow. This couldn’t be done with a GoPro because of the light conditions. You need a “real” cam for this…

I like this concept: simpel construction with I-beams, high enough to escape floods…and then re-use the i-beams as a slider to seal the cabin when you’re away. Beautiful. The Sol Duc Cabin

Travis Rice created his own mountain for a special snowboard competition: The RedBull SuperNatural. That hill looks disturbing.
You see the surfers getting sucked in, the hole becomes darker. They’re surrounded by a fortress of water that is going to hurl you over a sharp reef. But hey: it’s on film in slowmotion. Their grandkids will love it!
