I like this concept: simpel construction with I-beams, high enough to escape floods…and then re-use the i-beams as a slider to seal the cabin when you’re away. Beautiful. The Sol Duc Cabin

I love this concept: 3D print the complex parts, use “standard” carbon tubes to connect. It’s not that beautiful, but the possibilities are endless.
What if you didn’t glued them…but screwed them together. Could I transform a Race bike to a stronger Mountainbike?
The fork weihs 480g and the frame 1100g . If they would use titanium it would even be lighter…

In my allergy to printers (hate their user interfaces, hate their expensive ink that’s more expensive than blood  scam scheme’s, hate their stupid idea’s to consume more paper and inkt , … We all know that printers where sent from hell to make us miserable ;)   ) , I ran into this documentary: The light bulb conspiracy: the idea behind it is to tackle “Planned Obsolescence”.

Nest | The Learning Thermostat is a completely rethought thermostat. The most unsexy thing that you have on your walls became hot (pun intended) .
Love the site, love the idea. Love the idea that it sits on top of other manufacturers. Love that they made an app out of it.

Wacom created an sketch capture device, that captures your sketch on normal paper, and transfers its as vectors on your computer. Everything is neatly stored in a pencilbox. Wow.
