WaveJet Pod is an electrical surf motor, powered by a lithium-ion battery, operated from a waterproof controller that is worn on the wrist.
The drive, or Pod, makes up to 12 miles per hour, which is three to four times faster than paddling, and it is fully modular, so you can pop it out of your surfboard.
I’m not a big fan of a motorized surfboard, but can understand it’s purpose in learning, or surfing otherwise non-catchable waves…
