So what am I looking for:
tracking: I want to go boarding for a whole day and track where I’ve been
dashboard: I want to see total distance, top speed, averages
battery life: I want long battery life
export: I want a good mapexport
maps: nice add-on: maps

First application Tested:
itrailmap3D
What is really nice on iTrailmap3D is de 3D map. You see where you have been in real-time, on a 3D mountain (if available for the area where you are).
tracking: Looses GPS signal quit often. tracks are pretty accurate
dashboard: Not sufficient: no top speed, just vertical miles and total distance. I want to see a height profile, see topspeed during the day,…
battery life: It was pretty battery draining. You cannot get a full iphone (3G , Wifi turned off) to last for a ski-day
-Export: your maps are exported to http://www.3dskier.com. Where you just see a Google map and you can export a KML file for Google earth…but…the KML file breaks up in pieces, every time you loose GPS signal
– Maps: Nice 3D map, quit unique and impressing. You can also switch to the “paper map” of the area. No 3g conection needed, maps are stored.

Conclusion: not sufficient. Delete
